If your company uses Carta and you've been awarded equity, congrats! Check out the video to learn how to complete your personal profile and accept it.

1. After successfully registering and activating your Carta account, you'll be directed to a welcome screen. Click **Get started**.

2. Enter your _Personal Information_, including the basics like name and country of residency, but also a Tax ID. All fields marked with a red asterisk \* are required. When you've completed them all, click **Next: Tax address**.

3. Enter your residential address information for tax purposes, completing all required fields. Click **Complete** to finish creating your profile.

4. Accept your equity by reviewing the terms and conditions, as well as any other applicable documents. Check the box(es) and type your name as your digital signature, then click **Accept**.
