Reminder: Test before you touch live — use your Sandbox account

Making a change you're not 100% sure about? Try it in your sandbox first.

Your sandbox is a separate copy of your Carta account where you can test, model, and explore freely. The daily sandbox resets every 24 hours, so it's always a clean slate to experiment in whenever you need it.

It's a great way to:

• Model equity scenarios — stock splits, conversions, funding rounds
• Test bulk actions like grant imports, stakeholder updates, or plan changes
• Preview workflows for exercises, terminations, approvals, or repurchases
• Train new team members safely, using your real account setup

How to access it:

Head to sandbox.carta.com and log in with the same email and password you use for your live account. Look for the blue banner at the top of the page — that's how you know you're in sandbox, not live.

One important note: don't have your sandbox and live account open at the same time. Stick to one environment at a time to avoid accidental changes.
