Drafted grants don't automatically update when you change your equity plan

Quick heads up if you've made changes to your equity plan recently.

When you draft a grant in Carta, it captures your plan settings at that moment, including the post-termination exercise period (PTEP). If you update the plan after a draft is already sitting there, the draft keeps its original settings. That's how it's designed to work, but it's easy to miss when you're making changes mid-cycle.

Before you release, check this:

Open any drafted grant and look at the Post-Termination Exercise section. Compare it to what your equity plan currently shows. If they don't match, update the grant individually before releasing.

Takes about a minute per grant. A lot easier than fixing it after the certificate is issued.
